Virtual Community Explorer

Description

The name “Virtual Community Explorer” describes a WIN32 application, which provides a channel-based access to content aggregated for business users in the Sheraton-Net project. This application embeds the IE browser within our own shell. The shell allows for interstitial advertisements and can invoke locally installed applications like Office 2000 apps. It has some built in hooks into the Fidelio billing engine to track pay per use or pay per view content (via Microsoft’s message queue technology)
